OUR ACCREDITATION & CERTIFICATION MODEL
ABIA operates as a global Awarding Body. We do not conduct training directly; instead, we accredit and authorize a network of independent Training Centers, Institutes, and Educational Providers.
- The Provider: Delivers the training curriculum approved by ABIA.
- The Standard: ABIA audits the curriculum to ensure it meets our rigorous “Discover-Develop-Direct” competency framework.
- The Credential: Upon successful completion, ABIA issues the official Vocational or Professional Diploma, certifying that the trainee has met the required industry standards.
The credibility of the American Board for International Accreditation (ABIA) rests on a foundation of universally recognized quality frameworks. Our stringent accreditation processes are meticulously designed to align with and often exceed leading international standards.
We proudly adhere to the guidelines set forth by:
- ISO 9001: For Quality Management Systems, ensuring our own operational excellence.
- ISO 17020: For Conformity Assessment, demonstrating our competence as an inspection body.
- ISO 29993: For Learning Services, guaranteeing the quality and effectiveness of educational and training programs.
- ISO/IEC 17024: For Personnel Certification, ensuring our evaluation and certification of professionals like trainers and proctors meet rigorous international standards.
- ISO/IEC 25010: For Software Quality, as our framework for assessing web applications and websites, with a focus on Security and Usability, including adherence to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
Furthermore, ABIA’s framework is aligned with international best practices for Continuing Education and Training (CET), reinforcing our dedication to professional integrity and workforce development.
